The coloring was done with my view of seeing the things in my day-to-day life, where the snails that I saw were brown, hence colored them so. I recently saw a few butterflies that were yellow in color and saw a few pink-colored flowers in the park I played with green leaves. All these with my imagination that had been brought by the way I see, I colored my mushroom in Blue, and house in purple. Overall my imagination developed from my day to day things that I see, which had been shown in the coloring.

At the center, there is a big round mushroom house with a wide curvy cap that looks like it could be made of a soft red cloud. The mushroom’s cap is dotted with big friendly white spots that are way to colour in. The stalk or stem of the mushroom is a little twisted and acts like the house walls. A tiny door sits at the base with small windows on the side. Next to the house, a smiley snail slowly sinks along its shell shaped in a perfect spiral filled with stripes and gentle swirls. The entire scene is filled with large bold lines and there is plenty of space for a 5 yr old child to color in bright and cheerful colors. It’s a magical, simple scene that would start a 5-year-old’s creativity.

From scribbling all over the walls in the house with crayons, he has started to learn coloring on paper and is currently trying to have control of coloring within the boundaries. He has a natural tendency to be bright in his choice of colors and has an excitement on his face whenever he starts coloring: evidently exciting for him. This is the first time we are having him participate in any form of competition. While he definitely does not understand the meaning of such things, he has shown real excitement in choosing and applying colors on the template just because looks like a scene out of his favorite story book. Also, he has made a own story out of it with his imagination and has shared how his friends the snail and butterfly have come to his house in the winter vacation to play along with him the whole day.
My friends have come to visit me in my house during my winter vacation. I will be playing with them on the pebbles and planting seeds for the new trees to flower.
